Under Construction

I'm finally taking a pretty aggressive hands on look at my online web presence and deciding to setup all the appropriate websites, emails, portfolios and marketing stuff required to keep my ass afloat and relevant in this modern day and age.

For first port of call I've divvy'd up my various goals and identities into their own urls, brands and templates. Should make things easier going forward if everything has their own place.

Other Websites

I'm currently in the process of finally doing the website thing and consolidating all the various sites/ideas etc into a more organized public facing presentation.
For shorthand I have them sub-domained so for most people it'll simply be:

jason-storey.com - My 'Hello World' Homepage.

wiki.jason-storey.com - This Site
work.jason-storey.com - The Improve Stuff Site
games.jason-storey.com - The Forward Frost site

links.jason-storey.com - Link Aggregator. Single link under all videos from now on
meet.jason-storey.com - Meeting gateway. Controls access to my calendar etc
learn.jason-storey.com - The Place I will eventually use as a host for course content
support.jason-storey.com - A custom access point for donations etc
docs.jason-storey.com- The Asset Documentation

This One!

jason-wiki.com
this is the statically rendered obsidian vault I'll be using to hopefully answer questions going forward. I should be able to build an interconnected collection of answers to common questions and make life a little easier for everyone involved.

Personal Website

jason-storey.com
This will be my general "home sweet home" and host to my resume, personal links and general basic portfolio nonsense

The Brand

improvestuff.com
This is my new broad personal brand. A nice vague but all encompassing treatise to generally try and make things better and that its my general goal as a contractor regardless of the specifics. It's also going to be my new business email. jason@improvestuff.com

The Assets

docs.improvestuff.com (no custom domain)
This is going to be my more hand rolled version of say, gitbook. I decided that if I am going to go all in on dusting off my web dev kakis I probably want to do it whole hog including any documentation website I'd create for things like unity asset store assets I intend to sell. So this is a NextJs template that is designed around exactly that, general clean documentation.

The Games

forwardfrost.com
While I still have no real direct intention to make games full time, I think as part of educational material I'll want to publish things a little more. At least some mini games and demo projects and for that I wanted a general "gaming" brand. Something that is very distinctly different from me as a contractor, so here it is. ForwardFrost games is my game dev hat to complement the other hats.
